The Gransfors Bruk 439 Splitting Hatchet is a hand-forged Swedish axe designed for splitting kindling and smaller firewood. Suitable for one- or two-handed use, its thin, concave cutting edge enters the wood easily, while the broader head pushes the wood apart.
